This manifesto laid the foundation for Surrealism, an art movement that is deeply rooted in the human subconscious.<\/p>\n<p>The Avant-Garde jumble of the last century gave birth to many art movements, but none encompasses such a great interweaving of styles as Surrealism. Even in contemporary art, the influence of Surrealism is still clearly present. The journey from the subconscious to the super-reality and the ongoing search for the boundaries of the psychic and figurative is a process that is still ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>In the exhibition &#8216;Shrouded in Mistery&#8217;, artists Vincent de Bruijn, Paul Klemann, Wouter Valentijn, Coen Ringeling, Reginald Drooduin, Anuja Hoogstad, Mies van der Perk and Corn\u00e9 offer us a compass.
