Niels Lagerwaard (1991)
The mostly colorful work of Niels exudes dynamism. Straight lines are not his cup of tea. He has been painting and drawing since he was a child. That is symply part of his DNA. His mother’s father was Nol Kroes, a painter from The Hague (Netherlands) who won the prestigious Jacob Maris award, but unfortunately died rather young. One of his uncles is an artist too. Just as with these relatives, women are a favourite subject of Niels.
