Buddies ‘26

We cordially invite you to the opening of our new exhibition, Buddies ’26.

The third edition of this biennial exhibition features new encounters between artists from Atelier Herenplaats and external colleagues. Buddies ’26 focuses on collaboration, similarities, and contrasts.

The external artists have drawn inspiration from several Atelier Herenplaats artists and respond to their work with their own visual language and interpretations. The result is a dynamic ensemble that invites reflection and discussion about the significance of outsider art within contemporary art practice.

Featuring work by: Anuja Hoogstad, Arie van Geest, Coen Ringeling, Doreen van der Meer, Elvira van Bronckhorst, Harry Shumacher, Hester Scheurwater, Ine Lamers, Jeroen Allart, Jeroen Pomp, Leffert Hermans, Margreet Killian, Mies van der Perk, Monique Bouman, Niels Lagerwaard, Remco Roggeveen, and Wouter Valentijn
